Digital collaboration at the service of the community

What is the DATAide leadership support component?

DATAide offers a leadership support program entitled Digital collaboration at the service of the community

This component offers a space for reflection, learning, sharing and experimentation for community players who aspire to use digital technology to further their mission.

  • It takes place in 3 phases, spread over a period of 8 weeks.

  • The program is open to anyone working in the community sector.

You do not need to have attended any of DATAide's other learning streams to participate. However, to access the Leadership stream, you must first register for an information meeting.

Description of the leadership support program

Digital technology is omnipresent in our daily lives, sometimes making life easier, sometimes more complex. Its rapid development is accelerating the challenges we face. Community organizations are no exception to these changes, and also find themselves exposed to the major impacts of digital technology.

How do we navigate through these transformations? How can we design a digital environment that is aligned with the values of the community sector?

Digital collaboration at the service of the community is designed for community players who wish to explore the potential of digital technology in a responsible, supportive and ethical way, while catalyzing positive change within their communities.

Beyond the acquisition of knowledge and the development of technical skills, it aims at personal and collective transformation of participants, by inviting them to question their beliefs and perceptions linked to the digital world.

A three-phase program

Phase 1

Sharing our individual and collective intentions and aspirations

Co-create a future digital vision aligned with the values of the different backgrounds of the participants.

Expand our knowledge of the system

A broader reading of the system in digital terms. Challenges and opportunities

Phase 2

Stopping, reflecting, situating yourself before taking the plunge.

The process of exploring your own beliefs, values and skills. Identify what you need to let go of in order to welcome what emerges and take action.

Phase 3

Linking with the global system to dare to take action

Exploring collaborative approaches and avenues for navigating the complexity and changes linked to digital technology, while remaining in action.
